The HNC/D Business is a level 4 and 5 qualification that aims to provide you, the student, with the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to help improve your job prospects within many different types of organisations, in addition to providing a platform for further study.
Successful completion of the programme will lead to the award of HND Business from Tyne Coast College.
You must be over 18 years old and have one of the following:
BTEC National Certificate/Diploma in Business related studies.
NVQ Level 3 qualification in appropriate vocational area or A level equivalent.
And you must have achieved GCSE Maths and English or equivalent Numeracy and Literacy qualifications at Level 2.
Applications are also welcome from mature students with relevant work experience. Contact us for further information.
You can choose to pay your tuition up-front or take out a tuition Fee Loan from Student Finance England which currently defers payment until you start earning £25,000 per year.

Within your first year you will study 8 units and in your second year you will study 7 units. One of the modules will require you to work on a research project.
