The MSc Leadership in Health and Social Care is an 18-month course, consisting of five modules (180 credits) which will enhance your own practice, inspire your colleagues, and drive meaningful change

You will have the opportunity to study with people from a variety of different services and settings. The programme is designed to fit into busy working schedules and to be as useful as possible to both you and your employer; we combine study and assessment of theory alongside its application within a work setting.

Who the Course is for?

The course is designed to appeal to different cohorts, including managers and those aspiring to a more managerial roles within health and social care settings, as well as practitioners who aspire to develop a research-focused career. 

Entry Requirements

The College welcomes applications from all potential students, and offers are made following detailed consideration of each individual application.

  • A minimum 2:2 in a level 6 Honours degree with a relevant field
  • All applicants will be required to take part in an interview with the Curriculum team

Professional Practice Hours :

The Professional Practice Project provides an opportunity to apply knowledge and understanding of methodology and methods to develop an area of practice, evaluating the impact or potential impact upon the practice area. You may undertake this project in your actual workplace, or the workplace may be a defined sphere of practice. There is an expectation that to achieve the desired outcome you will complete 50 professional practice hours. For students unable to undertake a professional placement an alternative case study scenario may be provided
