Entry Requirements

You must be over 18 years old and have either of the following:

BTEC Higher National Diploma in Business 

A Foundation Degree Award (FdA) in Business Level 5 qualification in a related area.

And you must have achieved GCSE Maths and English or equivalent Numeracy and Literacy qualifications at Level 2.

Tuition Fees:
£9,250 Per Year

You can choose to pay your tuition up-front or take out a tuition Fee Loan from Student Finance England which currently defers payment until you start earning £25,000 per year.

Modules are delivered using a range of assessments to develop your skills both academically and within the workplace. An example of the modules you will study are:

  • Dissertation

  • Equality, Diversity, Inclusion at work

 Within your academic year you will study six modules across two semesters. One module will require you to produce a written dissertation.

You will be taught by academics that have relevant industry experience and subject specialisms that will help support your learning journey.

When studying this course you will develop transferable, employable, organisational and  managerial skills such as;

  • The ability to apply methods and techniques to a range of problems.
  • Devise and sustain arguments. 
  • The ability to critically evaluate.
  • Communicate information, ideas and problems relevant to the intended audience. 
  • Make judgments to achieve a solution or identify a range of solutions.

The BA (Hons)  Business Management (Top-up) degree programme is a level 6 qualification. A 2:2 Honours level pass will allow you entry onto a range of related Postgraduate or Masters degree programmes, including Accounting and Finance Management, Economics, Management and Human Resources and Marketing. such as:

  • Diploma in Education Teacher Training.
  • PGCE teacher training course.
  • MSc Accounting and Finance.
  • MSc Financial Economics.
  • MBA Plus Supply Chain Management.
  • MSc Marketing.

The Business sector covers a vast range of occupations and professions, the BA (Hons) Business Management programme is the ideal qualification to give you a broad awareness of the business environment.
