FdA Business Management is a level 5 course that aims to provide you, the student, with the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to help improve your job prospects within many different types of organisations, in addition to providing a platform for further study.

Successful completion of the programme will lead to the award of FdA Business Management from NCG

Entry Requirements

You must be over 18 years old and have one of the following:

BTEC National Certificate/Diploma in Business related studies.

NVQ Level 4 qualification in appropriate vocational area or A level equivalent.

And you must have achieved GCSE Maths and English or equivalent Numeracy and Literacy qualifications at Level 2

Tuition Fees:
£9,250 Per Year

You can choose to pay your tuition up-front or take out a tuition Fee Loan from Student Finance England which currently defers payment until you start earning £27,295 per year.

The FdA Business Management contains 6 modules in total. You will be required to undertake a minimum of ten hours’ independent study each week. This course will necessitate a high volume of reading and of applying research skills to access information.

You will cover the main areas of business including finance, marketing, human resources and leadership as well as specialist modules to give you a competitive edge in your career.

You will be taught by academics that have relevant industry experience and subject specialisms that will help support your learning journey.

Tutors will employ a varied range of teaching strategies which are aimed at developing learners’ knowledge, skills, and understanding thus enabling them to become independent learners capable of employing research techniques, critical thinking, team working and problem solving.

The overall aim of the programme is to produce work ready graduates who have a sound knowledge and understanding of organisations, and the business environment.

FdA Business Management programme can also help to develop skills and techniques to allow you to either become successful in gaining employment, provide progression opportunities in your place of work or to progress onto further higher education.

This course has been designed in collaboration with local / national employers to ensure that the knowledge and employability skills that you gain will give you the edge when it comes to securing your first graduate job.

FdA Business Management Qualification can also lead to progression onto a the Level 6 Degree programme in BA (Hons) Business Management (Top-Up).

This FdA Business Management programme will provide students with a comprehensive knowledge of business subjects and related skills in preparation for a career in management in a wide range of business organisations.
