Cert HE Business Management (with foundation year)

The overall aim of the Cert HE Business Management programme is to develop work-ready graduates with a strong understanding of organisations, the business environments in which they operate, and the principles of effective management. The programme also equips students with the practical skills and professional techniques needed to secure employment, advance within their current workplace, or progress to further higher education.

The programme will allow individuals to display a critical, analytical and evaluative approach to applying business and management concepts whilst taking into consideration the environments they operate in and the wider environmental context. The programme will also utilise opportunities for lifelong learning to generate self-directive and self-reflective students who commit to the process of continuous learning and development. 

Cert HE Business Management qualification can also lead to progression onto the Level 5 FdA Business Management.

This programme provides students with a comprehensive knowledge of business subjects and related skills in preparation for a career in management in a wide range of business organisations. These include private and public sector organisations, as well as charities and NGOs on a global, national and local scale.
