The Cert HE Business Management is a level 4 that aims to provide you, the student, with the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to help improve your job prospects within many different types of organisations, in addition to providing a platform for further study.

Successful completion of the programme will lead to the award of Cert HE Business Management from NCG

Entry Requirements

You must be over 18 years old and have one of the following:

BTEC National Certificate/Diploma in Business related studies.

NVQ Level 3 qualification in appropriate vocational area or A level equivalent.

And you must have achieved GCSE Maths and English or equivalent Numeracy and Literacy qualifications at Level 2.

Tuition Fees:
£9,250 Per Year

You can choose to pay your tuition up-front or take out a tuition Fee Loan from Student Finance England which currently defers payment until you start earning £25,000 per year.

The Cert HE Business Management programme contains 7 modules in total. You will be required to undertake a minimum of ten hours’ independent study each week. This course will necessitate a high volume of reading and of applying research skills to access information. 

Each module studied on the programme has been created with specific links to industry and employers, with the view to create a programme that maps directly to the skills you will need to work in Business Management sectors.

You will be taught by academics that have relevant industry experience and subject specialisms that will help support your learning journey.

The overall aim of the Cert HE Business Management programme is to produce work ready graduates who have a sound knowledge and understanding of organisations, the business environment in which they operate and their management, whilst developing their skills and techniques to allow them to either become successful in gaining employment, provide progression opportunities in their place of work or to progress onto further higher education.   

The programme will allow individuals to display a critical, analytical and evaluative approach to applying business and management concepts whilst taking into consideration the environments they operate in and the wider environmental context. The programme will also utilise opportunities for lifelong learning to generate self-directive and self-reflective students who commit to the process of continuous learning and development. 

Cert HE Business Management Qualification can also lead to progression onto a the Level 5 Foundation Degree in Business Management.

The overall ambition of the HE Strategy for LTA is to provide students studying an NCG HE programme, an exceptional, high-quality experience to prepare them for successful progression to employment or further education (such as masters or doctorates).  The success of all students is our priority. This programme provides students with a comprehensive knowledge of business subjects and related skills in preparation for a career in management in a wide range of business organisations.
