HNC/D Computing for England level 4 and 5 qualification that aims to provide you, the student, with the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities needed to enter into a Computing career. This is the first Pearson Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ)

Successful completion of the programme will lead to the award of HNC/D Computing for England  from Tyne Coast College.

Entry Requirements

You must be over 18 years old and have one of the following:

BTEC  National Certificate/Diploma in Computing related studies.

NVQ Level 3 qualification in appropriate vocational area or A level equivalent. 

And you must have achieved GCSE Maths and English or equivalent Numeracy and Literacy qualifications at Level 2.

Tuition Fees:
£6165 Per Year

You can choose to pay your tuition up-front or take out a tuition Fee Loan from Student Finance England which currently defers payment until you start earning £25,000 per year.

Modules are delivered using a range of assessments to develop your skills both academically and within the workplace. An example of the modules you will study are:

Within your first year you will study  3 units and in your second year you will study 4 units. One module will require you to work on a research project.
