Gowns, Mortarboard Caps and Hoods
Gowns
Gown sizes are unisex and based on the height of the wearer (head to toe). They are loose fitting
garments
designed to be worn over the top of clothing so the width of the wearer has no bearing on the
recommended size.
- Extra Small: recommended for those with a height of 5’ 2” and below
- Small: recommended for those with a height of 5’ 3” to 5’ 5”
- Medium: recommended for those with a height of 5’ 6” to 5’ 7”
- Large: recommended for those with a height of 5’ 8” to 5’ 10”
- Extra Large: recommended for those with a height of 5’ 11” to 6’ 1”
- Extra-Extra Large: recommended for those with a height of 6’ 2” and above
Mortarboard Caps
Cap sizes are based on the circumference of the wearer’s head measured around the widest part of the
head, just above the eyebrows. All Churchill Gowns caps have a soft skull and adjustable elastic
allowing
for some flexibility in sizing.
- Small: recommended for those with a head circumference of 52cm and below
- Medium: recommended for those with a head circumference of 53cm to 55cm
- Large: recommended for those with a head circumference of 56cm to 58cm
- Extra Large: recommended for those with a head circumference of 59cm and above
Hoods
Hoods are one size fits all.
